On January 15, the High Command of Navy Region 4
 announced that military medical personnel
 had offered emergency care
 to a fisherman whose right hand had been crushed while working at sea.
Nguyen Van Tay, 39, of Tam Nam Quan ward, Hoai Nhon township, Binh Dinh's south-central province, had surgery at the Song Tu Tay island medical center, Truong Sa district, Khanh Hoa province. After that, the fisherman was permitted to return to his boat
 for additional treatment.
Previously, on January 13, Truong Sa's health center also gave emergency assistance to another fisherman from Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province, who was similarly injured on the job. With Tet approaching, let’s hope that this trend does not continue.
