The COVID-19 alert level
 in HCM City has remained at level 1 for the sixth week in a row, according to the city's People's Committee
. Green zones continue to be designated
 in all 21 districts and throughout the city.
Green denotes
 a low risk of COVID. Yellow denotes medium danger, orange denotes high risk, and red denotes very high risk. Only one of the city's 312 wards, communes, and towns is at level 2 (yellow), down three from last week. Furthermore, for the second week in a row
, the number of new COVID cases has been less than 1,000.

Every resident over the age of 18 has received at least one dose of a COVID vaccine, and 94% of those over the age of 50 have received two shots. This is most welcome news and proof that the city’s vaccination plans
 are working.
